Super interesting! I’ve been curious about Genesis 3:15. Are you saying that the “enmity between [the snake’s] offspring and her’s” is an ongoing battle for Spiritual power over the offspring (ie, Cain adopted the snake’s ways and Abel stayed in God’s ways)? When I was a kid I thought this verse meant that men give into the snake’s ways easier than women because women have “enmity” with the snake’s offspring (ie, they aren’t inherently as easily swayed). In other words, I read this as a curse on the snake (ie, women won’t be as easily convinced to stray from God’s ways) rather than a two way curse. I’d love your thoughts!

Hey brother Baylin! That's an interesting point that you raise, and I'll chew on that for sure!

Currently, I do think that there are multiple layers to Gen. 3:15. One being a spiritual battle over the offspring. Since it is a curse on the snake, it seems to raise the question of who the snake's kids are. Let's go with what you were taught growing up for example: if men are more susceptible to give into the ways of the snake, does that make them the snake's kids? It seems like that would be the case in my judgment, right? What do you think?
